Nobel Laureate Louise Gluck tells us in her poem, "Nostos":
"We look at the world once, in childhood. The rest is memory."
Let's use that as our writing prompt this month and we'll get together on Saturday 10/17/20 at 5PM to share our work, chat about writing, and offer each other feedback and support. See you Saturday at 5PM.

Childhood is probably the biggest part of who we are. During our childhood, we start to learn who we are. We develop different skills and we start to discover what we are passionate about. Some might even say that their childhood is their most memorable memory. Many of us cling to our childhood because it is full of happy memories, but we cannot hold on to the past forever. One way or another, we are going to have to grow up and learn how to survive the real world as an adult.
